A changing FACE in the South West

As you will know from the national newsletter,  Paul Hillard stepped down from his role as regional coordinator in April 2015.

Paul's significant contribution towards helping to educate children about food, farming and countryside was recognised at the Bayer/ FACE awards in September, where he was presented with an award by BBC journalist Tom Heap.

I've been in position for just over a year now and, because our region is so large, it still hasn't been possible to meet all of you yet, although it has been lovely to meet so many of you at events and at other meetings over the last year.

Paul hasn't disappeared from FACE.  He will continue to undertake some activities and also to run CEVAS training courses, enabling farmers to participate in an accredited scheme that enables them to offer farm visits to school groups with greater confidence.
